East Zion Experience
The Zion Forever Foundation brought together members of the community -- ranchers, farmers, local tribes, and environmentalists -- to discuss plans for an interpretive visitor center at the east entrance to Zion National Park. I created this visual in real-time, incorporating the insights and concerns of the stakeholders. This allowed them to see where their interests and concerns intersect, as well as any differences. The finished drawing provided the group with a co-created vision to guide their future efforts.
Keeping History Above Water
Coastal cities in the U.S. are experiencing the impact of rising sea levels and increasingly powerful storms. I captured the remarks of scientists and government leaders as they shared their experiences and community responses to these events. This visual enabled the audience to better grasp the scope of the problem and to see that their cities have much in common. In turn, this enabled them to develop solutions from a shared perspective.
IIDA “Ask the Designer, Ask the Manufacturer”
During their annual Industry Roundtable, interior designers and manufacturers share their insights and concerns with each other. Through this graphic, created in real-time, participants were able to see how much they have in common, and to identify the gaps and develop solutions to improve communication.
